This documentary comedy follows an unusual family duo — a father and son who organize a children’s film festival in a small village while simultaneously creating their own short films for the program.
The filmmaking process is deliberately unconventional: a smartphone replaces the camera, a shovel serves as a tripod, and children and grandchildren become the actors. The blend of creative ambition and everyday life results in a series of light, witty, and sometimes absurd situations.
The project has been recognized at several Russian film festivals, received awards in documentary film competitions, and was screened in the main programs of international festivals.
