The film follows Nikita, a young man who moves from a provincial town to Moscow in search of a new life. Renting a room and getting to know his roommate, he soon becomes entangled in complex personal and criminal relationships. Through a friend, Nikita learns about a wealthy local figure named Dan, setting off a chain of events where every decision carries serious consequences. The story explores the criminal underworld, moral choices, and social contrasts shaping life in a modern metropolis.
The film premiered at the Window to Europe Festival in 2024, where it received the Jury Special Prize for “The Acting Ensemble of Tomorrow.” At the Spirit of Fire Festival in 2025, it won several awards, including a Special Jury Mention, the Silver Rose for Best Music, the Audience Award Flowers of Taiga Hope, and the President’s Prize Golden Taigapresented by Emir Kusturica.
