The theatre The Chaika presents a new family New Year’s production, “Fir Tree Stories” — a warm, modern and heartfelt performance for children and parents. Created by an independent European troupe, this holiday show blends winter magic, live theatre and a story about friendship, dreams and the power of New Year miracles.
At the centre of the plot is an Artificial Fir Tree that gets lost in a city park and dreams of reaching the main square before New Year’s Eve. On her journey she meets two real fir trees that cannot leave the park, yet each carries its own story about winter traditions, wonders and the magical New Year night.
The heroine tries to help her new friends while moving towards her own celebration. The performance highlights the importance of mutual support, self-belief and the idea that New Year wishes come true when we believe in them.
The production combines interaction, visual expressiveness and dynamic storytelling, making the performance engaging for both children and adults. “Fir Tree Stories” is an excellent choice for families during the winter season and for everyone seeking a gentle, heartfelt and high-quality New Year show.
